Correct Answer - Option 1 : 1/3

Given

Two coins tossed

Concept

Multiplication theorem on probability

If A and B are two events associated with a random experiment, then

P(A.  B) = P(A) .P(B/A)

Calculation

S = (HH), (HT), (TH), (TT)

⇒ n(A) = 1 i.e(HH)

⇒ n(B) = 3 i.e(HT, TH and HH)

⇒ n(A B) = 1 i.e(HH)

P(A/B) = 1/3
