The National Commission for Backward Classes Act (1993)	This Act is to constitute a National Commission for Backward Classes other than the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes and to provide for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto. It is under India's Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment. The NCBC Bill, passed by the Parliament of India inserted Article 338B.
Child Labour (Prohibition and Regulation Act) (1986)	This Act prohibits the engagement of children in certain employments and regulates the conditions of work of children in certain other employments. As per the Child labour act, a child is defined as any person below the age of 14, which prohibits the employment of a child in any employment including as domestic help (an exception to family-owned business and child actor).
Persons with Disabilities (Equal Opportunities, Protection of Rights and Full Participation) Act (1995)	This act gives effect to the Proclamation on the Full Participation and Equality of the People with Disabilities in the Asian and Pacific Region. The act was replaced by the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016.
The National Commission for Minorities Act (1992)	The commission works for the development of the recognized minorities in India. Currently, the commission works under the Ministry of Minorities.
