The correct answer is option 3.

  • Lotus Bud’ fringe on the underside of the arch
    • Some artists, poets, and architects from Central Asia brought with them the Seljuq (Turkish) tradition of architecture, characterized by a lotus-bud fringe on the underside of arches, ornamental reliefs, and bricks laid endwise and lengthwise in alternating courses in the masonry face.
  • Emergence octagonal tomb
    • Tughlaq Tombs in the Indian subcontinent are mostly simple, monotonous, and heavy structures in Indo-Islamic architecture built during the Tughlaq dynasty (1320–1413).
    • They look more like fortresses with walls surrounding them and have restrained decoration and embellishment compared to both earlier and later Indian Islamic tombs.
    • Use of Bodegoi in the pillar
      • Vijayanagara architecture of 1336–1565 CE was a notable building idiom that developed during the rule of the imperial Hindu Vijayanagara Empire.
      • The empire built temples, monuments, palaces, and other structures across South India, with the largest concentration in its capital.
      • The monuments in and around Hampi, in the Vijayanagara principality, are listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
