Correct Answer - Option 2 : 48

Given:                             

3 married couples have bought 6 seats in the same row for a talent show.

Formula used:

n! = n × (n – 1) × (n – 2) ……………………….3 × 2 × 1

Calculation:

Each couple sits in pairs- same as the above, but there are 3 couples so 3!

Each couple also has two ways of sitting

So we need to multiply this by 2 for each so 3 time’s total.

⇒ 3! × (2)3

⇒ 3 × 2 × 1 × 8

⇒ 48

∴ Different ways can they be seated if each couple is to sit together 48
