Correct Answer - Option 3 : Dilwara Temple

The Correct Answer is Dilwara Temple.

  • The Dilwara Temples are a group of Jain svetambara temples situated about 2.5 kilometres from the settlement of Mount Abu, the only hill station in Rajasthan.
  • The earliest were built by Vimal Shah and allegedly planned or at least funded by Vastupala, Dholka's Jain minister.
  • They date from the 11th and 16th centuries, creating some of the most prominent monuments in the architectural style of Māru-Gurjara, renowned for their use of very pure white marble and intricate carvings of marble. Among the most renowned Jain temples are the five Dilwara Temples.

  • The five temples are:
    • Vimal Vasahi: This temple dedicated to the first Jain Tirthankara, Shri Adinatha
    • Luna Vasahi: This temple dedicated to the 22nd Jain Tirthankara, Shri Neminatha
    • Pittalhar: This temple dedicated to the first Jain Tirthankar, Shri Adinatha
    • Parshvanath: This temple dedicated to the 23rd Jain Tirthankara, Shri Parshvanatha
    • Mahavir Swami: This temple dedicated to the last Jain Tirthankara, Shri Mahaviraswami

  • Saheliyon-ki-Bari is a large garden and a popular tourist spot in Udaipur, Rajasthan.
  • At the edge of the Aravalli Hills stands Nahargarh Fort, overlooking the city of Jaipur in Rajasthan.
  • In the town of Bansberia in Hooghly District, West Bengal, Hanseswari temple is a Hindu temple of the goddess Hangseswari (the goddess who came in the dream of Raja Nrisingha Deb Roy Mahasay).
