Correct Answer - Option 3 : IIT Gandhinagar

The Correct Answer is IIT Gandhinagar.

  • Project Isaac has been launched by the Indian Institute of Technology, Gandhinagar (IITGN) to engage its students in innovative projects to develop their critical skills when they are confined to their homes due to the Coronavirus.
  • The project is inspired by Sir Isaac Newton, who, because of the Great Plague of London in 1665, was similarly sent home by Trinity College, Cambridge.
  • Newton, then a 22-year-old college student, made some of his most profound discoveries during this year, including early calculus, as well as his optical and gravity theories.
  • As part of the initiative, IIT, Gandhinagar, is organizing four different competitions to develop new skills among students in writing, painting, coding, music, creative expression, and so on.
  • Students may compete online in competitions. Almost 40 per cent of IITGN students are now involved in a number of fully voluntary activities.
