Calculation:

The age of Prabhu is 4x

And age of Ramesh is 7x

According to the question

⇒ (4x + 5)/(7x + 5) = 5/8

⇒ 32x + 40 = 35x + 25

⇒ 3x = 15

⇒ x = 5

Age of Prabhu is 4x

⇒ 4 × 5 = 20 years

∴ The present age of Prabhu is 20 years.
