Best answer
Correct Answer - Option 2 : Rs. 14,400

Given:

Investment of A = Rs. 1.5 lakh

Investment of B = Rs. 1 lakh

Total profit after 1 year = Rs. 24,000

Concept used:

Share of profit is directly proportional to the amount of investment multiplied by time of investment

Calculation:

Total investment of A and B = Rs. (1.5 + 1) lakh

⇒ Rs. 2.5 lakh

Share of A = Rs. (1.5/2.5) × 24,000

⇒ Rs. 14,400

∴ The share of A is Rs. 14,400
