Best answer
Correct Answer - Option 4 : Rs. 2280

Calculation:

⇒ Total investment of A = 400 × 5 + (400 + 100) × 7 = Rs. 5500

⇒ Total investment of B = 600 × 6 + (600 - 100) × 6 = Rs. 6600

Ratio of their profit shares = 5500 : 6600 = 5 : 6

∴ The profit share of B = 6/11 × 4180 = Rs. 2280.
