Correct Answer - Option 2 : 30 km/hr

Solution : Let the usual speed be x km/hr .

Due to traffic the speed is 66.66% of x = 2x/3 km/hr

Formula Used :

 speed = distance/time

Calculations:

The usual time = 50/x hr

Time taken to complete the journey when there is traffic = 50/(2x/3) = 75/x hr

According to question he is late by 50 minutes = 50/60 hrs

So , 75/x – 50/x = 50/60

⇒ 25/x = 5/6

⇒ x = 30 km/hr
