Correct Answer - Option 4 : Jupiter

The correct answer is Jupiter.

  • Jupiter is a jovian planet.

  • Inner planets are also called terrestrial planets/Earth-like planets.
  • Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars are called terrestrial planets because they resemble one another (specifically, Earth) in their structure: a metallic core, surrounded by a rocky mantle and thin crust.
  • The planets which lie inside the asteroid belt are the inner planets and outside the belt are the outer planets/ Jovian planets.
  • They have atmospheres so thick that the gas is a dominant part of the planets’ structure.
  • Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune are all categorized as gas giants.
