Correct Answer - Option 1 : \(33\frac{1}{3}\% \)

Given :

x% of 240 = 60% of (x + 450)

Calculation :

x% of 240 = 60% of (x + 450)

⇒ 2.4x = 0.6x + 270

⇒ 1.8x = 270

⇒ x = 150

Now, 20% of (x + 50) = 40

And, 40% of x = 60

⇒ Required % = \( {60 - 40 \over 60} \times 100\)

⇒ 33(1/3)%

∴ Required % is \(33{1 \over 3}\%\)
