Correct Answer - Option 1 : 25°

Given:

(3 × supplementary angle) - (7 × complementary angle) =10°

Formula Used/Concept used:

Sum of complementary angle is 90°

Sum of supplementary angle is 180°

Calculation:

Let the angle be x

⇒ {3 × (180° - x)} - {7 × (90° - x)} = 10° .

⇒ 540° - 3x - (630° - 7x) = 10°

⇒ 540° - 3x - 630° + 7x = 10°

⇒ 4x - 90° = 10°

⇒ 4x = 10° + 90°

⇒ 4x = 100°

⇒ x = 100°/4

⇒ x = 25°

∴ The required answer is 25°
