Correct Answer - Option 2 : 75

Given:

HCF = 15

LCM = 300

First number = 60

Concept used:

If 'a' and 'b' are two numbers, then LCM × HCF = a × b

Calculations:

Let the first number be 'a' and second number be 'b'.

LCM × HCF = a × b

⇒ 300 × 15 = 60 × b

⇒ 4500 = 60 × b

⇒ b = 75

∴ The second number is 75.
