Correct Answer - Option 1 : 1176

Given:

Percentage of boys = 70%

Number of girls = 504

Calculations:

Let the total students be 100x.

Number of boys = 100x × 70% = 70x

Number of girls = 100x - 70x

⇒ 30x = 504

⇒ x = 16.8

Number of boys = 70x

⇒ 70 × 16.8

⇒ 1176

∴ The number of boys is 1176.
