Correct Answer - Option 4 : A perfect square of 8

Given:

First fraction = 1 - 83/99 = 16/99

Product = 47 + 3/4 = 191/4

Calculation:

Let assume that number = x

Product = First fraction × Second fraction

⇒ 191/4  = 16/99 × x

⇒ (191/4)/(16/99) = x

⇒ 18909/64 = x

Denominator is 64.

⇒ 64 is a perfect square of 8 i.e. 8 × 8

∴ Denominator i.e. 64 is a perfect square of 8

The correct option is 4 i.e. A perfect square of 8.

Perfect square: The perfect squares are the squares of the whole numbers.

Denominator: The number below the line in a fraction showing how many parts the whole is divided into.

Numerator: The number above the line in a fraction.
