Correct Answer - Option 2 : 48

According to question:

X + Y + Z = 96 -------(1)

and, Z = 2X ----------(2)

and, X + Y = 2Z  --------(3)

Put value of Z in equation (1) and (3)

X + Y + Z = 96

2Z + Z = 96

3Z = 96

Z = 32

Put the value of Z in equation (2)

Z = 2X

2X = 32

X = 16

Put the value of X and Z in Equation 1

X + Y + Z = 96

16 + Y + 32 = 96

Y + 48 = 96

Y = 48

Hence, "48" is the correct answer.
