Correct Answer - Option 3 : Tribals of Tripura

The correct answer is Tribals of Tripura.

  • Ker Pujas are traditional tribal festivals, which are celebrated in Tripura.
    • Ker literally means austerity in English. This Puja is celebrated 14 days following the end of Kharchi puja.
    • In this festival, a large piece of bamboo when bent in a particular fashion assumes the image of Ker.
    • It is generally believed that the former rulers used to perform this puja for the general welfare of the people.
    • It is the strictest puja ever performed by Tripuri people. It may be mentioned here that no puja or worship is so strictly performed as is the Ker puja of Tripuri people.
