  • Arvind Kejriwal is the national coordinator of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).
  • Born on 16 August 1968, Kejriwal is an alumnus of IIT Kharagpur and worked in the Internal Revenue Service as a joint commissioner in the Income Tax Department. Hence, Statement 1 is incorrect.
  • In 2011, Kejriwal joined several activists such as Kiran Bedi and Anna Hazare to form India Against Corruption (IAC) group demanding the Jan-Lokpal bill.
