Correct Answer - Option 1 : Rs. 910

Given:

SP of the article = Rs. 546

Discounts are 20% and 25% respectively

Concept used:

Equivalent discount = (x + y – xy/100) %

MP = {100/(100 – value of discount%)}  × SP

Calculation:

Equivalent discount = (20 + 25 – 500/100)% = 40%

So marked price = MP = Rs. (100/60 × 546) = Rs. 910

Marked price is Rs. 910
