Correct Answer - Option 3 : 33 days

Given:

A is twice as good as B

Time is taken to finish work = 22 days

Calculation:

A is twice as good as B

A can complete the given work in half time of B

Suppose B can complete work in 2x days

Then, A can complete the work in 2x/2 = x days

According to the question.

⇒ (1/x) + (1/2x) = 1/22

⇒ (1 + 2)/2x = 1/22

⇒ 3/2x = 1/22

⇒ x = 33 days

∴ A alone can finish the given work in 33 days
