Given:

Speed of train A = 70 km/hr

Speed of train B = 80 km/hr

Distance between Delhi and Chandigarh = 600 km

Both train starts at 1 P.M

Concept used:

Relative speed = When two objects are moving towards each other then the relative speed will be the sum of both the speeds

Time = Total distance/Relative speed

Calculation:

Relative speed = (70 + 80) km/hr

⇒ 150 km/hr

Time taken to meet = 600/150 hours

⇒ 4 hours

Time at which both train will meet = 1 P.M + 4 hours

⇒ 5 P.M

∴ Both trains will meet at 5 P.M
