Correct Answer - Option 2 : 200/3%

Given:

CP of 5 apples = SP of 3 apples

Formula used:

Gain% = (Gain/CP) × 100%

Calculation:

Let the CP of 5 apples be Rs. 5

CP of 3 apples = Rs. 3

SP of 3 apples = CP of 5 apples = Rs. 5

Gain = Rs. (5 – 3)

⇒ Rs. 2

Gain% = (2/3) × 100%

⇒ 200/3%

∴ The gain percentage is 200/3%
