Correct Answer - Option 1 :

₹ 33000

Given:

The initial investment of Ajay = ₹ 35000

The initial investment of Rohit = ₹ 28000

The initial investment of Rohan = ₹ 56000

Total Profit = ₹ 154000

Concept used:

Profit = Investment × time period

Calculation:

Ajay invested 35000 for 12 months,

⇒ Total investment of Ajay = (35000 × 12)

⇒ 420000

Rohit invested 28000 for 6 months and (1/2) × (28000) for next 6 months,

⇒ Total investment of Rohit = [(28000 × 6) + (14000 × 6)]

⇒ 252000

Rohan invested 56000 for 6 months and (1/2) × (56000) for next 6 months,

⇒ Total investment of Rohan = [(56000 × 6) + (28000 × 6)]

⇒ 504000

Profit ratio = 420000 : 252000 : 504000

⇒ 5x : 3x : 6x = 14x

⇒ 14x = 154000

⇒ x = 11000

Profit of Rohit = 3x = 3 × 11000

∴ The profit of Rohit is  33000.
