Best answer
Correct Answer - Option 3 : 92.30%

GIVEN:

Let, D : P : S.P = 2.5x : 3.5x : 10x

FORMULA USED:

1) Marked price = selling price + D

2) Profit = selling price - cost price

CALCULATION:

⇒ Marked price = 12.5x      ----(1)

⇒ Profit = selling price - cost price

⇒ Cost price = 6.5x      ----(2)

⇒ Marked up = Marked price – Cost price

⇒ Marked up = 6x

⇒ Markup percentage = (6x/6.5x) x 100

⇒ Markup percentage = 92.30%
