Correct Answer - Option 4 : 137

Given:

Number of candidates qualified in the test from zone R in 2010 = 7.4

number of candidates appeared from zone Q  in the year 2008 = 5.4

Formula Used:

Percentage = (qualified candidates from R/appeared candidates from Q) × 100

Calculation:

According to the question

percentage = (7.4/5.4) × 100 ⇒ 137%

∴ The number of candidates who qualified the test from zone R in the year 2010 was approximately 137% of the number of candidates who appeared from zone Q in the year 2008
