Correct Answer - Option 2 : 2007

Given:

Number of candidates appeared in 2005 in zone P = 3.2

Number of candidates qualified in 2005 in zone P = 2.5

Number of candidates appeared in 2007 in zone R = 5.9

Number of candidates qualified in 2007 in zone R = 4.8

Calculation:

Difference between the appeared and qualified candidates in 2005 in zone P = 3.2 - 2.5 ⇒ 0.7

Difference between the appeared and qualified candidates in 2007 in zone R = 5.9 - 4.8 ⇒ 1.1

∴ In the year 2007 in zone R, the difference between the appeared candidates and qualified candidates the second-lowest
