Correct Answer - Option 2 : 90

Answer: 2

Given :

Two trains of length 180 m and 270 m

And crosses each other in 10.8 sec

Concept

1m/s = 5/18 kmph

Relative speed when the train in opposite direction  = (S1 + S2)

Where S is the speed.

Speed = distance/time

Calculation:

Let the speed of the second train is X kmph

Relative speed when train in opposite direction  = 60 + X

Relative speed when train in opposite direction  = (270+180)/10.8

60 + X = {(270+180)/10.8} × 18/5

60 + X =  (450/10.8) × 18/5

60 + X = 150

X = 90 kmph
