Best answer
Correct Answer - Option 4 : \(\frac{{\varphi ZN}}{{60}}V\)

Concept:

e.m.f. generated by a generator is

\(E = \frac{{\phi ZNP}}{{60A}}\)

Where,

ϕ = flux

Z = number of conductors

N = number of turns

P = number of poles

A = number of parallel paths

lap winding, number of parallel paths (A) = number of poles (P)

Explanation:

\(E = \frac{{\phi ZNP}}{{60A}}\)   ...1

For lap winding:

A = P

Put A = P in equation 1

\(E = \frac{{\phi ZN}}{{60}}\)
