Correct Answer - Option 3 : 270

Given :

Amount of Lemon juice is 11.11% less than the soda in the bottle

Total volume of bottle is 510 ml

Concept used :

Amount of a component in a mixture = (Fraction of given component/Fraction of all components) × Total amount of mixture

Calculations :

Let the amount of soda in the bottle be 'x'

Amount of lemon = x - 11.11% of x     (given)

⇒ x - (1/9) of x      (11.11% = 1/9)

⇒ x - (x/9)

⇒ (8/9)x

Now, ratio of soda to lemon juice

Soda : lemon juice = x : (8/9)x

⇒ 9 : 8

Amount of soda in the bottle = {9/(8 + 9)} × 510

⇒ 270 ml

∴ The amount of soda in the bottle is 270 ml.
