Correct Answer - Option 3 : 18 ∶ 29

Given:

x ∶ y  = 3 ∶ 4

Calculations:

Assuming x = 3 and y = 4 then,

(2x + 3y) ∶ (3x + 5y) = (2 × 3 + 3 × 4) ∶ (3 × 3 + 5 × 4)

⇒ (6 + 12) ∶ (9 + 20) = 18 ∶ 29

∴ The required ratio is 18 ∶ 29
