According to question
5M = 3W
So,
⇒ (5/3)M = W

Now,
Number of people × Number of days = Total work
⇒ (5M + 6W) × Number of days = 24 × 5M ………………………. (2)
From equation (1) and (2)
⇒ (5M + 6 × 5M/3) × Number of days = 24 × 5M
⇒ (5M + 10M) × Number of days = 24 × Number of days
⇒ Number of days = 24 × 5M/15M
⇒ Number of days = 8
∴ 5 men and 6 women will complete the same work in 8 days.
