Best answer
Correct Answer - Option 4 : 43.36

 The percentage of increase of total vehicles from 1990-91 to 2000-01 = {(19.95 – 9.18)/9.18} × 100 = 117.32%

Number of total vehicles in 2000-01 = 19.95 lakh

To make the percentage change equal for the years

19.95 × {(117.32 + 100)/100} = 19.95 × 217.32/100 = 43.36

∴ Total number of vehicles in 2010-11 would be equal to 43.36 lakhs
