Given:

Ratio of Nidhi’s age and Amit’s age is 2 ∶ 3.

Concept Used:

Ratio concept used.

Calculation:

Let the present of Nidhi and Amit  be 2x and 3x.

Present of Nidhi = (16 + 4)years = 20 years

So, 2x = 20

⇒ x = 10

So, present age of Amit = 3x = 3 × 10 = 30 years

∴ Present age of Amit is 30 years old.
