Correct Answer - Option 4 : 18

Given :

A train 200 metres long is moving at the rate of 40 kmph

Formula used :

Time = Distance/speed

Calculations :

Let the the time to cross man be 't'

t = 200/(100/9)    (distance to cover = length of train and speed = 40 km/h = 100/9 m/s)

⇒ 18 seconds

∴ Option 4 is the correct choice.
