Correct Answer - Option 4 : 7

Explanation

We know,

Curvature correction is given by:

\({C_c} = \frac{{{d^2}}}{{2R}}\)

Where,

d = distance between points under consideration

R = Radius of earth = 6370 km

Refraction correction:

\({C_R} = \frac{1}{7} \times \frac{{{d^2}}}{{2R}} = \frac{{{d^2}}}{{14R}}\)

So,

The ratio of curvature correction to refraction correction is 1/(1/7) = 7

∴ Ratio is 7
