Correct Answer - Option 3 : 81 km/h

Solution:

Let V be the average speed of the train Y.

Distance covered by train X before meeting with train B = 900 – 243 = 657 km

According to question, 657/146 = 243/V + 1.5

9/2 = 243/V + 3/2

243/V = 3

V = 243/3 = 81 km/h
