Correct Answer - Option 4 : 140 m

Given:

Speed of train = 66 km/hr

Length of bridge = 465 m

Time taken to cross the bridge = 33 sec

Formula used:

Distance = Speed × Time

Calculation:

Let the length of the train = x m

Distance covered by the train = length of train + length of bridge

⇒ Distance = (x + 465) m

As, Distance = Speed × Time

x + 465 = [66 × (5/18)] × 33

⇒ x + 465 = 605

⇒ x = 605 – 465 = 140 m

∴ Length of the train is 140 m
