Correct Answer - Option 4 : 3.85 m3

Concept:

Wet Qty. of concrete = Area × thickness

Dry vol. of concrete = 1.54 × Wet volume of concrete

No. of cement Bags = Cement Qty/0.035

Calculation:

Area = 100 sq.m

Floor thickness = 2.5 cm

Concrete grade = 1:2:4

Wet quantity of concrete = 100 × 0.025 = 2.5 m3

So, to produced 2.5 m3 of wet concrete, dry concrete required = 1.54 × 2.5 = 3.85 m3

Bulk density of cement = 1440 kg/m3

1 bag of cement = 50 kg

Cement bags required = Volume of cement ×  1440/50
