Correct Answer - Option 3 : Lot Tolerance Percent Defective

Concept:

Lot tolerance percent defective:

  • LTPD stand for Lot Tolerance Percent Defective.
  • LTPD basically means the rejectable quality level of the lot, or in simple words, it is a bad lot.
  • Generally, the customer accepts a few more defective parts more than the acceptable quality level beyond which the customer is not willing to accept the defectives or non-conforming parts, this level is the rejectable quality level.
  • A lot having defectives beyond LTPD will be rejected 90% of the time. There is a 10% chance that the customer will accept the LTPD lot, therefore it is the customer’s risk.
