Correct Answer - Option 1 : 128 m2

Given:

The length of the parallel sides of the trapezium is 12 m and 20 m

Distance between the parallel sides of the trapezium = 8 m

Formula used:

Area of a trapezium(A) = 1/2(Sum of parallel sides × distance between the parallel sides)

Calculation:

According to the question:

A = 1/2[(12 + 20)8]

⇒ A = 128

∴ Area of the trapezium = 128 m2
