Best answer
Correct Answer - Option 4 : Rs. 24000

Given:

The income of Rahul = 56000

Concept:

Income = Expenditure + Saving

Calculation:

Let us assume expenditure and savings of Rahul is 3p and 4p respectively

⇒ 3p + 4p = 56000

⇒ 7p = 56000

⇒ p = 56000/7 = 8000

⇒ The expenditure of Rahul = 3p = 3 × 8000 = 24000

∴ The required result will be 24000.
