Correct Answer - Option 3 : No relation in x and y or x = y

Calculations:

From I,

2x2 – 7x + 6 = 0= 0

⇒ 2x2 – 4x – 3x + 6 = 0

⇒ 2x(x – 2) – 3(x – 2) = 0

⇒ (x – 2)(2x – 3) = 0

Taking,

(x – 2) = 0 or (2x – 3) = 0

⇒ x = 2 or x = 3/2

From II,

4y2 – 10y + 4 = 0

⇒ 4y2 – 8y – 2y + 4 = 0

⇒ 4y(y – 2) – 2(y – 2) = 0

⇒ (y – 2)(4y – 2) = 0

Taking,

(y – 2) = 0 or (4y – 2) = 0

⇒ y = 2 or y = 1/2
