Correct Answer - Option 2 : 45 km

Given:

Distance covered by bus = 2/3 of the total distance

Speed of the person by bus = 60 km/hr

Speed of the person by bicycle = 30 km/hr

Total time taken = 3 hours

Formula used:

Speed = Distance/Time

Calculations:

Let the total distance be 3x

Distance covered by bus = (2/3) × 3x

⇒ 2x

Distance covered by bicycle = 3x – 2x

⇒ x

Total time  = time taken by bus + time taken by bicycle

⇒ 3 = (2x/60) + (x/30)

⇒ 3 = (2x + 2x)/60

⇒ 3 = 4x/60

⇒ 4x = 180

⇒ x = 45 km

The distance covered by bicycle is 45 km.
