Correct Answer - Option 1 : 10.67

Given:

A train has covered a distance of 960 km in 25 hours.

Formula used:

Speed = Distance/Time

Calculations:

Speed = 960/25

⇒ 38.4 km/h

⇒ 38.4 × 1000/3600 m/s [1km = 1000m and 1h = 3600 seconds]

⇒ 10.67 m/s

∴ The average speed in m/s is 10.67 m/s
