Best answer
Correct Answer - Option 4 : 200

Given:

According to the table,

The number of boys blood donated in department B = 75

Boys from department B doesn't donate blood = 45

Calculations:

Department percentage of girls percentage of blood donating girls* number of blood donating Boys*  percentage of blood donating boys number of blood donating girls
A 25% 40%  48 60% 32
B 40%  50% 75 50% 75
C 30 70% 39 30% 91

The number of boys in department = 75 + 45 = 120

Percentage of the girl in department B = 40%

Percentage of boy in department B = 100% – 40% = 60%

60% of the students = 120

100% students in department B = 120 × 5/3 = 200

∴The total number of students in department 'B' is 200
