Correct Answer - Option 4 : x ≤ y

Calculation:

I. 3x2 –4x + 1 = 0

⇒ 3x2 –3x –x + 1 = 0

⇒ 3x × (x – 1) –1 × (x – 1) = 0

⇒ (3x – 1) × (x – 1) = 0

⇒ x = 1 and x = 1/3

II. 2y2 –5y + 3 = 0

⇒ 2y2 – 2y – 3y + 3 = 0

⇒ 2y × (y – 1) –3 × (y – 1) = 0

⇒ (2y – 3) × (y – 1) = 0

⇒ y = 1 and y = 3/2
