Correct Answer - Option 1 : 18.85 mm

Concept:

Circular pitch: It is the distance measured on the circumference of the pitch circle from a point of one tooth to the corresponding point on the next tooth. It is usually denoted by pc. Mathematically,

The circular pitch is given by

PC = π × m

where PC is circular pitch and m is module.

Calculation:

Given:

Module m = 6 mm, T = 40

PC = π × m

PC = π × 6

PC = 18.85 mm.
