Correct Answer - Option 1 : 40 km

Given:

Unrepaired vehicle = 30 kmph, 30 minutes

Repaired vehicle = 50 kmph, 30 minutes

Formula used:

Speed = Distance / time

Calculations:

Calculating distance in segments

Segment 1: D1 = 30 × 0.5

⇒ D1 = 15 km

Segment 2: D2 = 50 × 0.5

⇒ D2 = 25 km

⇒ Total distance covered = 25 + 15

total distance is 40 km
