Correct Answer - Option 2 : 3000

GIVEN:

Ratio of money received by P and Q is 3 : 2, Q and R is 5 : 6, R and S is 2 : 5.

Total money = Rs. 13400

CALCULATION:

As GIVEN:

P : Q = 3 : 2, Q : R = 5 : 6 and R : S = 2 : 5

Changing the ratio into a compound ratio:

P : Q : R : S = (3 × 10) : (2 × 10) : (6 × 4) : (5 × 12)

⇒ P : Q : R : S = 15 : 10 : 12 : 30

Total money = Rs. 13400

∴ Difference of amount received by P and S = [(30 - 15) / 67] × 13400 = Rs. 3000
